Effective August 1, 2016, I am retired from this position and no longer employed by Umeå University. However, I plan to remain active professionally.

I will continue to maintain this Web site; in particular with new research publications and updated instructional materials for database management.
For three months each year, I am a visiting professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Concepción in Chile.
