I am a Staff Scientist at the AI Policy Lab. My research interests concern both the social and political impact of and on various technological approaches to AI, writ broadly, and on ways to effect change through and on policy around it. My background and PhD is in theoretical computing science, with applications in natural language processing, and I've done some work in the digital humanities as well, including as a postdoc at EPFL.
