Angelika Beatrix Schwarz

In July 2017 I started as a PhD student at the department of computing science. My main supervisor was Lars Karlsson and my co-supervisors were Bo Kågström and Carl Christian Kjelgaard Mikkelsen. My PhD concerned the improvement of algorithms related to the computation of eigenvectors for the standard non-symmetric eigenvalue problem. The devised algorithms have an improved efficiency and better parallel scalability.

On September 25, 2019, I defended my licentiate thesis ("mid-way PhD thesis") with the title Towards Efficient Overflow-Free Solvers for Systems of Triangular Type. The comprehensive summary is available as technical report.

My PhD thesis is on Improving the Efficiency of Eigenvector-Related Computations. The defence is scheduled for September 20, 2021.
